Toil, Toil, Boil, and Bubble...
Well sorry for my absence - was busy enjoying pre Hallow's Eve and my favorite holiday itself this past Monday...
But sadly it has ended - and now I have to wait another 362 days for Halloween!
On Halloween - my daughter, her friend Joleen, and I went to Disneyland's Not So Scary Halloween. It is SOOOOOO fun. I wish they'd add another hour to it, to soak in all the creepy - and midnight is a haunting hour!
They do hand out lots of candy at numerous candy stations - TONS of party guests are decked out - our favs were parents who decorated their baby's stroller as a pirate ship (it was fabulous) and another parent decorated their kid's wheelchair as Darth Vader's Starfighter. Clever and just screaming with imagination!
I did not take any pics though! I was running from ride to ride to get them all in keeping up with two 17 year old's - and for being 49 I did pretty damn good!
But I did miss the Headless Horseman - my one thing I stated I wanted to see.
He was in the Halloween Parade - and sadly - I don't do parades, but looking at the pics I found of the parade, I may have to change my view and widen my comfort zone.
Pics below are not mine - but by other guests and Disney itself.
Check out the huge Gingerbread House in the Holiday Mansion - Disney makes a new one every year!!!
NOTE they added a NEW Hat Box Ghost to the Haunted Mansion AND FINALLY...SALLY!!! Finally!!! A full size Sally!!! She's so beautiful!!!
The Jack Skellington at the end is from Disneyland Hong Kong - which is AWESOME! Looks like they do ALL Jack, which I am envious of!!! The Headless Horseman Hong Kong has is from "Sleepy Hallow" (or looks to be so) and is lead by handlers.
But for some of us (like myself) I celebrate Halloween every day...
After all...
