Toil, Toil, Boil, and Bubble...

Well - I haven't been posting AT ALL - feel awful - I made a promise to commit and submit and FAILED!

My intentions were to be more diligent - and it's a new day, so I'm going to commit to try to post as often as I can!

My business is starting to take off again - 

My Etsy Shoppe in order (on vacation mode until after Sugar Plum Arts Festival is over) - 

I will be attending Sugar Plum Festival at the following dates:

Costa Mesa OC Fair and Event Center: SEPT 29 - OCT 1
Buena Park Downtown: OCTOBER 13-16

I finally have a routine with the merchandising I do for Hallmark in all the stores I service - giving me more time at home to create new creepies.

Hubby is the greatest hubby helping more at home to give me more time to lock myself away in my studio without worrying about cleaning and cooking - 

So - so far so good!

One thing I will have to admit and vent that has taken a lot of my time,energy, faith, and happiness is the degenerates that own and renters across the street from my home. 

I know I shouldn't let it bother me - but it does, and that's that.

For over 7 years we had to deal with renter after renter - parties, noise, unmaintained property (weeds 6-8 feet high), numerous renters at one time, numerous vehicles in and out all day and night (the primary house, guest house and RV's in rear are all rented out), HUGE trash/debris piles causing rats and vermin, - not to mention business farming on a residential property...

HOWEVER one victory - after 7 years of battling with the City of Riverside I FINALLY received victory - the business farming has been removed - so no more 20 vehicles entering in and out 50+ times a day - farming at night (11pm!), screaming and yelling all day and night, farmers/laborers urinating on produce grown, farmers/laborers drinking alcohol and driving, and most importantly the removal of 3 of the farmers/laborers - 1 a drug felon, 1 a theft felon, and another a registered sex offender. IT TOOK THE CITY 7 YEARS TO FINALLY LISTEN AND DO WHATS RIGHT - that's unacceptable - but, thankfully - they are gone.

My family and I now have to contend with numerous renters - some renting days, weeks and months - all illegal to do so - and again, I'm having to battle with the City of Riverside. My taxes pay for their service and duty, but it appears they pick whom, when, and what to serve.

We are soooooo hoping for new home owners and neighbors - who are seeking a HOME - a real home sweet home, to live in it and love it. Sadly, because it is only used to rent and make money off of it is in dire need of upgrades and care - and the jackass who owns it will only sell it for $1.6 million (NO, it is not worth that amount - maybe $600,000 in its current condition) - so it would take a miracle and special people to want to take on this hot mess:

Some day's I have hope - but a majority of the time I've lost all hope.

But I will not stop fighting the City of Riverside - that is another reason - the main reason why I've been so absent in business and blog - so my apologies to you, as well as to my family, and even myself!

I have neighbors that are realtor's in the area that are aware of the issues and are sympathetic, and are keeping an ear out for potential buyers, but no interest so far. Primarily it was used as  a HOME and horse property - and we are hopeful to have REAL neighbors once again with horses.

So, I'm going to quote Mr. Rogers..."Won't you be my neighbor?" ! Yes - we are seeking great neighbors - spread the word, keep it in mind, thoughts, and prayers - and here's to hope...I hope.
